a. Edit the file name by changing “1” to “2”.

Support_AC365_6A_Logo.png
3. With the file NP_AC365_6A_FirstLastName_2.accdb open, ensure that your first and last name is displayed as the first record in the _GradingInfoTable table.
a. If the table does not display your name, delete the file and download a new copy.
PROJECT STEPS
1. As a project assistant for Lighthouse Cybersecurity, you have created an Access database to track new clients and their projects, services, and analysts. To help users enter data and provide requested information in a professional format, you will create and modify forms and reports. Create a split form from the Analyst table to show a split view of the data in the table. Save the form with the name AnalystSplit and display it in Form View as shown in Figure 1, and then close it. (Hint: The top pane of your AnalystSplit form might arrange the controls in two columns, depending on your screen resolution.)

2. Modify the ClientEntry form in Form Design View as follows to display the client records in alphabetic order:
a. Change the Record Source for the form to the AlphaClient query.
b. Change the tab order so that the ClientID field is in the first position in the Detail section. Save the ClientEntry form.
3. With the ClientEntry form still open in Form Design View, use the Combo Box Wizard as follows to add a combo box for selecting an analyst for the client:
a. Add the new combo box below the ProjectStart text box at approximately the 2" mark on the horizontal ruler.
b. Get the values for the combo box from another table.
c. Select the AnalystID and LastName fields from the Analyst table for the combo box.
d. Sort the records by the LastName field in ascending order.
e. Hide the key column, and do not adjust the column width.
f. Remember the value for later use.
g. Enter Analyst as the label for the combo box.
h. Switch to Form View.
i. Use the new combo box to select Delgado as the Analyst for the first record (ClientID 20, Alert Medical). Save and close the ClientEntry form.
4. Modify the AnalystSalary form in Form Design View as follows to indicate whether the analyst is a contract employee:
a. Add a check box control below the Start Date text box at approximately the 2" mark on the horizontal ruler.
b. Modify the Control Source property of the check box to use values from the ContractEmployee field.
c. Use Contract Employee? as the Caption of the accompanying label.
d. Resize the label to display the full caption. Save and view the form in Form View as shown in Figure 2, and then close the AnalystSalary form.

5. Modify the RegionEntry form in Form Design View as follows to add a subform showing the analysts for each region:
a. Remove the control layout from the controls in the Detail section of the form.
b. Expand the Detail section to be about 3" tall.
c. Use the Subform Wizard to create a subform control using the AnalystID, FirstName, LastName, StartDate, and Salary fields from the Analyst table.
d. Show Analyst for each record in Region using RegionCode.
e. Use AnalystsByRegion to name the subform.
f. Delete the AnalystsByRegion label since it is not necessary to identify the subform.
g. Position the subform just below the Description label at approximately the 0.25" mark on the horizontal ruler.
h. Save and view the RegionEntry form in Form View, resize the fields in the subform to their best fit, and then navigate to the fourth record for NE (Northeast) in the main form as shown in Figure 3. Close the RegionEntry form.

6. Modify the ProjectData form in Form Design View as follows to add a missing field:
a. Add a new text box to the form and position it just below the Deposit label and text box at approximately the 2" mark on the horizontal ruler.
b. Use Monthly Fee as the Caption for the accompanying label. (Hint: If necessary, resize the label to display the full caption.)
c. Use MonthlyFee as the Control Source property for the text box. Save the ProjectData form.
7. Modify the ProjectData form in Form Design View as follows to improve the design and add a logo for visual interest:
a. Right-align the text in the five labels in the Detail section.
b. Right-align the right edges of the five labels in the Detail section.
c. Add a rectangle control around the four controls that identify project revenue: the Deposit label, Deposit text box, Monthly Fee label, and MonthlyFee text box. Save the ProjectData form.
8. With the ProjectData form still open in Form Design View, insert the Support_AC365_6A_Logo.png logo in the Form Header. Save and view the form in Form View as shown in Figure 4, and then close the ProjectData form.

10. Modify the RegionList report in Report Design View as follows to make the information easier to interpret:
a. Add a horizontal line to the Page Header section below the three label controls.
b. Add a horizontal line to the Report Footer section, just above the text box that calculates the count. Save and view the RegionList report in Print Preview as shown in Figure 6 and then close the RegionList report.
