GETTING STARTED
1. Open the file NP_WD19_EOM2-2_FirstLastName_1.docx, available for download from the SAM website.
2. Save the file as NP_WD19_EOM2-2_FirstLastName_2.docx by changing the “1” to a “2”.
a. If you do not see the .docx file extension in the Save As dialog box, do not type it. The program will add the file extension for you automatically.
3. With the file NP_WD19_EOM2-2_FirstLastName_2.docx still open, ensure that your first and last name is displayed in the footer.
a. If the footer does not display your name, delete the file and download a new copy from the SAM website.
PROJECT STEPS
1. You are preparing a research paper for your Organizational Management class on the outlook for the pharmaceutical industry. The paper must follow the MLA format. Change the Citations & Bibliography style of the document to MLA.
2. Apply the Capitalize Each Word case to the title paragraph "pharmaceutical industry outlook".
3. Insert a Plain Number 3 page number from the Top of Page gallery. Insert the author's last name of Ellis before the page number, including only one space to separate the name and number, and then close the Header & Footer Tools.
4. Create a First line indent of 0.5" to indent the first line of each body paragraph beginning "Technology has transformed…" and ending "…knowledge-based commercial organizations."
5. In the first body paragraph, which begins "Technology has transformed…", edit the Galvan citation to add 18 as the page number.
6. Find the sentence "The first 3D-printed drug…treatment for epilepsy." Before the period at the end of the sentence, create a citation with a new source containing the information shown in Table 1.

7. In the blank line at the end of the document, insert a page break and then insert a Works Cited list from the Bibliography gallery.
8. On page 1, in the third body paragraph ("Patients want access…to market faster."), edit the Khan source so the author's name is "Khan, Doug".
9. Update the Works Cited list to reflect the edit you made to the source.
10. Apply the Normal style to the "Works Cited" heading, and then center the heading.
11. Select the entire document and change the font size to 12 point and the line spacing to double.
Your document should look like the Final Figure on the following pages. Save your changes, close the document, and then exit Word. Follow the directions on the SAM website to submit your completed project.
