PROJECT STEPS

1. You work in the Human Resources Department of New Data Consulting, a digital content company in Atlanta, Georgia. The company consults with businesses about how best to use artificial intelligence tools to benefit company operations. New Data Consulting needs to hire several new consultants. You've been asked to create a template that interviewers can use when meeting with new job applicants. On page 1, apply kerning to the "Job Interview" title for 14-point fonts and above and with Expanded spacing to include even spacing between the characters.

2. Change the font of the "[Insert date]" text to Century Gothic 11 point, apply a right alignment and bold, and change the font color to Blue, Accent 1. Save the formatting of that text as a paragraph style named Details so that you can use the formatting with other text in the document. Apply the Details paragraph style to the "Candidate name: [Insert candidate name]" and the "Interviewer: [Insert interviewer name]" text.

3. On page 2, format the "Copyright" heading (including the paragraph mark) using 16-point Century Gothic, Dark Blue, Text 2 paragraph shading, and a White, Background 1 font color to set this heading apart from the other headings in the document. Update the Reference style to include the changes you made to the "Copyright" heading.

4. Replace the "[Insert table of contents.]" placeholder text with a custom table of contents that uses all of the default settings to list the contents of the document.

5. Modify the table of contents by selecting the Formal format to apply a format the suits the design of the report. Show heading levels 1 and 2 from the table of contents to include only the main topics in the report. Replace the table of contents.

6. Find the "Conflict" paragraph on page 6 (under the PERSONAL heading), and then apply the Heading 2 style to the paragraph to indicate that it begins a new subtopic.

7. Update the entire table of contents to reflect the change you made to the "Conflict" heading. Save the document as a template if necessary, so that other interviewers can use it when interviewing job applicants.

Your document should look like the Final Figure on the following pages. Save your changes, close the document, and then exit Word. Follow the directions on the website to submit your completed project.
