PROJECT STEPS
1. You work in the parks and recreation department for the township of Renfrew in Colorado, a small community in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. The department has put together a proposal to set aside land for a new park called Kallahan Lake Park. Your job is to add and edit pictures to a presentation about the new park to be delivered to the town council. Begin by setting the sharpness of the mountain picture on the title slide to 25%.
2. On the title slide, convert the text "Park Proposal" to a WordArt object using the Fill: White; Outline: Green, Accent color 1; Glow: Green, Accent color 1 WordArt style (4th column, 2nd row in the gallery of WordArt Styles).
3. On Slide 2 ("Kallahan Lake Park"), insert the picture file Support_PPT365_EOM3-1_Lake.jpg. Change the height of the picture to 6.0" and allow the width to size proportionally. Apply the Metal Oval picture style. Change the Color Tone of the picture to Temperature: 5300 K. Crop approximately .5" from the top of the picture to reduce the amount of sky showing. Use Smart Guides to position the picture to the right of the text as shown in Figure 1.

4. On Slide 3 ("Kallahan Lake Park Recreation"), delete the shape containing the text "Picnicking". Move the picture containing the text "Hiking" so that it appears evenly spaced between the picture containing the text "Fishing" and the picture containing the text "Swimming". Use an Align objects command to align the three shapes so that the tops are level with each other.
5. On Slide 7 ("Preserve and Protect"), use the content placeholder to insert the video file Support_PPT365_EOM3-1_LakeVideo.mp4. Apply the Slope Beveled Rectangle video style.
6. On Slide 8, insert WordArt using the text "Questions?" and the Pattern Fill: Green, Accent color 1; 50% Hard Shadow: Green, Accent color 1 WordArt style (3rd column, 4th row in the gallery of WordArt styles). Apply the Wave Up Transform effect to the WordArt object [Mac hint - The Transform effect will appear as Wave 2 for Mac users]. Change the 3-D Rotation effect to Off Axis 1: Right. Increase the width of the WordArt object to 9.0". Position the WordArt object in the center of the slide as shown in Figure 2.
