PROJECT STEPS
1. In your role as project manager at Seaview Energy, you work with clients to develop products, solutions, and services that use green technologies. One of your clients, Merriweather Industries, asks you to create a presentation that provides an overview of green technology and includes information about some of the innovative products available for efficient and reliable energy solutions. Begin by reusing the Overview slide from the presentation file Support_PPT365_EOM3-2_Slides.pptx so that it appears as the second slide in the presentation [Mac hint - Delete the following extra slides that automatically appear in the presentation (Green Technology Market and Global Sectors)]. Apply the Title and Content slide layout so the formatting of the Overview slide matches the rest of the presentation.
2. On Slide 3 ("What is Green Technology?"), animate the picture with the Grow and Turn Entrance animation effect. [Mac hint - Grow Turn in Moderate animation effect.]
3. On Slide 4 ("Consumer Examples"), insert a text box containing the text Sustainability is Key! Apply the Subtle Effect – Light Green, Accent 1 shape style to the text box, and increase the font size of the text to 24-point. Center the text in the text box, then change the width of the text box to 3" and the height to 1". Position the text box as shown in Figure 1.

4. On Slide 5 ("Industry Sectors"), modify the table as follows: delete the blank table column, increase the width of the Description column so that "Sustainable power supply" does not wrap and the right edge of the table is even with the "s" in "Sectors" in the title slide. Insert the text Generation in the blank table cell below "Sector", and then insert a table row below the first row and enter the text Transmission in cell 1 of the new row and Innovative energy transmission systems in cell 2. Decrease the width of column 1. Compare the completed table to Figure 2.

5. On Slide 6 ("Power Generation Challenges"), use the content placeholder to insert a table consisting of three columns and two rows. Apply the Light Style 2—Accent 1 table style. Enter the text shown in Table 1.
Figure 3: Table 1: Data for table
6. On Slide 7 ("Green Technology Growth"), insert a clustered column chart using the content placeholder and enter the data shown in Table 2. Delete any extra rows and columns.
Figure 4: Table 2: Data for Column Chart
7. With Slide 7 still displaying, apply the Style 6 chart style to the column chart. Add Market Share: Current & Projected as the chart title. Change the font size of the Years in the Legends to 16-point. Add the text Billions to the Y-axis.
8. On Slide 8 ("Contact"), animate the text box containing the phone number with the Wipe Entrance animation effect. [Mac hint - Wipe in Basic animation effect.] Change the animation duration to 1:50. Preview the animation.
In Slide Sorter view, your presentation should look like the Final Figure on the following page. Save your changes, close the presentation, and exit PowerPoint. Follow the directions on the website to submit your completed project.
