PROJECT STEPS
1. Fatima Singh, the accounting director of the Finance Department at Waterdown Bank, has asked you to develop a presentation highlighting the key elements of Waterdown Bank's Annual Report. You edit the presentation before delivering it at a meeting to the Bank's shareholders. Begin by inserting slides from the outline contained in Support_PPT365_EOM6-1_Outline.rtf so that the new slides follow Slide 1.
2. On Slide 2 ("Key Highlights"), reset the slide layout. On Slide 3 ("Achievements and Recognition"), reset the slide layout. The layouts of both slides now match the presentation.
3. Clear all the formatting from the table on Slide 4 ("Waterdown Bank by the Numbers"). Change the text color of the table contents to Dark Gray, Background 1 (1st row, 1st column in Theme Colors). Change the table shading to Turquoise, Background 2, Lighter 80%. Select the third line style (a dashed line) in the selection of border line styles. Select 3 point for the border weight. Select Turquoise, Background 2, Darker 50% for the pen color. Select the table, then reapply the outside border to view the enhancements.
4. On Slide 5 ("Yearly Profits"), insert a new Excel Spreadsheet consisting of four rows and two columns with the data shown in Table 1.
Table 1: Data for Embedded Worksheet
2019 | $41 million 2020 | $56 million 2021 | $80 million 2022 | $100 million
5. With Slide 5 ("Yearly Profits") still displaying, change the font size of the embedded data to 8 point. Adjust column widths so that all the data is visible. (Hint: Use Auto fit to adjust width of Column A and B.) Adjust the worksheet size so that only the two columns and four rows with data are visible. Change the value in cell B3 to $62 million. Exit the worksheet. Position the worksheet on the slide as shown in Figure 1.

6. On Slide 6, change the colors of the pie chart to Monochromatic Palette 3. Move the legend to the left of the pie chart. Add data labels to appear as Data Call Outs as well as in the Outside End position. Increase the font size of the data labels to 14 point. Explode the pie chart slice representing Wealth Management by 20%. Resize the pie chart so that it is 5" in Height and 11" in Width and position it so that the completed chart appears as shown in Figure 2.

7. Open the file Support_PPT365_EOM6-1_Results_by_Quarter.xlsx and copy the clustered column chart. Paste the column chart as an embedded object on Slide 7 ("Results by Quarter") using the Use Destination Theme & embedded workbook paste option. Close the workbook in Excel. Resize the column chart to approximately 4.5" in Height and 10" in Width. Position the column chart on the slide as shown in Figure 3.

8. On Slide 8 ("Our Strategic Goals"), split the second cell in row 1 so that it becomes two cells. Type Goal in the new cell (now the First cell in column 2). Delete column 3, which is blank. Resize the table by dragging the far right handle to about 4" of the right side of the slide.
In Slide Sorter view, your presentation should look like the Final Figure on the following page. Save your changes, close the presentation, and exit PowerPoint. Follow the directions on the website to submit your completed project.
