PROJECT STEPS

1. You manage the office for Paradise Realty, a small real estate company based in Naples, FL, that sells condos, townhouses, houses, and commercial properties. The owner of the company, Brita Clark, asks you to create a form to send to the agents who work for the company via email. Agents will be asked to fill in the form and return it to you in the same way. Change the paper size to a custom size using a width of 7" and a height of 6" so that users do not need to scroll when completing the form online.

2. Change the page color to Lime, Accent 1, Lighter 80% (5th column, 2nd row in the Theme Colors palette), and then apply the Dotted: 50% pattern (2nd column, 1st row in the Pattern palette) to lighten the background and make the form more attractive.

3. In the 2nd cell of row 1, insert a Plain Text content control after the "Name" text. Format the new content control using the Strong style, and then lock the content control so that it cannot be deleted. In Design mode, edit the placeholder text so that it appears as follows: Click to type your name.

4. In the 4th cell of row 1, after the text "Current Date", insert a Date Picker content control. Select the date format similar to January 26, 2028. In Design mode, edit the placeholder text so that it appears as follows: Click to enter current date.

5. In the 2nd cell of row 2 after the text "Status", insert a Drop-Down List content control. In Design mode, use Click to select employment status. as the placeholder text. Remove the "Choose an item." entry, and then add the following two choices for the drop-down list: Full-time Part-time

6. In the 4th cell of row 2, after the text "Neighborhood", insert a Combo Box content control. In Design mode, use Click to select a neighborhood or add one. as the placeholder text. Remove the "Choose an item." entry, and then add the following four choices for the drop-down list: Old Naples Park Shore Coquina Sands Pelican Bay

7. Edit the list so the items are in alphabetical order.

8. In the cell under "Property Address" in row 4, insert a Rich Text content control. In Design mode, change the properties to use "Address" as the title and the tag.

9. In the cell under "Condo" in row 4, insert a Check Box content control. Select character code 252 (a checkmark symbol) from the Wingdings font as the check box symbol.

10. Copy the Check Box content control and paste it in the cells under "Townhouse," "House", and "Commercial" so the row contains four check box content controls.

11. In the blank cell under "Client Experience" in row 6, insert a Rich Text content control using the Emphasis style. In Design mode, edit the placeholder text to read Click to describe the client experience. Turn off Design mode.

12. Remove all the borders from the table so that the top part of the form blends in with the bottom part of the form. (Hint: Make sure to select the entire table when making changes to the table border.)

13. Insert an icon by searching for House and then selecting the black house icon with stars (3rd column, 1st row in the search results for "House") shown in Figure 1 to add visual interest to the form. Position the icon so it appears in the upper left corner of the form to the left of the letterhead with square text wrapping. Apply the Colored Fill—Accent 2, Dark 1 Outline graphics style to the icon.

14. Draw a Rectangle with Rounded Corners around the content in the document. Change the height of the rectangle to 2.5" and change the width to 6.3. Move the rectangle so that its top and bottom edges encompass the table. Apply the Subtle Effect - Lime, Accent 1 shape style to the rectangle. Apply an Offset: Bottom Left outer shadow to the rectangle. Send the rectangle behind the text.

15. Restrict editing in the document to allow users only to fill in forms and start enforcing protection without a password.

Your document should look like the Final Figure on the following pages. Save your changes, close the document, and then exit Word. Follow the directions on the website to submit your completed project.
