GETTING STARTED
1. Save the file SC_WD365_EOM2-1_FirstLastName_1.docx as SC_WD365_EOM2-1_FirstLastName_2.docx
a. Edit the file name by changing “1” to “2”.
b. If you do not see the .docx file extension, do not type it. The file extension will be added for you automatically.
2. With the file SC_WD365_EOM2-1_FirstLastName_2.docx open, ensure that your first and last name is displayed in the footer.
a. If the footer does not display your name, delete the file and download a new copy.
PROJECT STEPS
1. You are writing a research paper for your Hospitality Management course. The paper surveys technology in the hospitality and travel industry and must be written in the MLA style. Change the Citations & Bibliography Style of the document to MLA to meet the paper's requirement.
2. Modify the first body paragraph ("Travel and tourism…and virtual reality.") by changing its font to Times New Roman, the font size to 12 point, and the line spacing to double with no blank space after paragraphs to match the MLA format.
3. Update the Normal style to reflect the changes made to the first body paragraph.
4. Apply the updated Normal style to the first four paragraphs in the document, from "Amir Darwish" to "5 March 2027" so that those paragraphs also match the MLA format.
5. Insert a Plain Number 3 page number at the top of the page, add the last name Darwish and a space before the page number, and then close the Header & Footer tab.
6. Create a First Line indent of 0.5" for all the body paragraphs, beginning with "Travel and tourism…" and ending with "…and sustain growth."
7. On page 1, before the period in the sentence "About 92 percent of consumers…process as a chore.", insert a citation to a new source using the information shown in Table 1.

8. Insert a citation to the existing International Hospitality source before the period at the end of the sentence "Contactless technology…to labor shortages." to provide a source for the information in that sentence.
9. In the same paragraph, before the period at the end of the sentence "Kavala adds that…perennial staffing problem.", insert a citation to a new source using the information shown in Table 2.

10. Insert a manual page break so that the "Works Cited" paragraph begins on a new page.
11. In the blank paragraph at the end of the document, use the Insert Bibliography command to insert a list of sources without a built-in heading.
12. Edit the Nakamura source to change the author's first name to Maya to use her correct first name.
13. Update the bibliography field to reflect the edit you made to the Nakamura source.
Your document should look like the Final Figure on the following pages. Save your changes, close the document, and then exit Word. Follow the directions on the website to submit your completed project.
