In Practice 365/2024 Integrated Capstone Project 6 Part D - PowerPoint Steps to complete this project:
Mark the steps as checked when you complete them.
1.Open the PHRE-HomeBuying-ICP-6d PowerPoint presentation start file.
The file will be renamed automatically to include your name. Change the project file name if directed to do so by your instructor.
2.Enable content in the security warning.
3.Open the PHRE-ClientLetter-ICP-6c Word document file that you created in Part C of the Integrated Capstone Project 6.
4.Add slides to the presentation, copy text from Word, and paste text into PowerPoint.
5.Add a new Title and Content slide and type Learn about Mortgage Types in the title area.
6.Return to the second page of the Word document and select and copy the first two main bulleted items and their sub-bullets in the “Learn about Mortgages” section (“Fixed Rate Mortgage” through “Can be dangerous”).
7.Return to the PowerPoint presentation, click in the text area of the new slide, and use Ctrl+V to paste the copied text.
8.Use the Backspace key to remove any blank lines below the bulleted list.
9.Change the font size of the text in the two main bullets to 28 pt.
10.Change the font size of the text in the second-level bullets to 24 pt.
11.Add another new Title and Content slide and type Learn about Mortgage Points in the title area.
12.Return to the second page of the Word document.
13.Select and copy the third bulleted item and its sub-bullets in the “Learn about Mortgages” section (“Mortgage Points” through “Can be used to buy down mortgage rate”).
14.Return to the PowerPoint presentation, click in the text area of the new slide, and paste the copied text.
15.Use the Backspace key to remove any blank lines below the bulleted list.
16.Change the font size of the text in the main bullet to 28 pt.
17.Change the font size of the text in the second-level bullets to 24 pt.
18.Insert a chart on a PowerPoint slide.
19.Insert a Blank slide at the end of the presentation.
20.Insert a Line with Markers chart.
21.Delete the existing data in the Chart in Microsoft PowerPoint window that opens and leave this window open.
22.Open the InterestRates-Excel-ICP-6b Excel workbook file that you created in Part B of the Integrated Capstone Project 6. Select and copy A2:C13 on the InterestRates worksheet.
23.Return to the PowerPoint presentation, place your insertion point in A1 in the Chart in Microsoft PowerPoint window and paste the copied data.
Resize the Chart in Microsoft PowerPoint window as needed so you can see all of the data.
24.Drag the chart data range handle to select A1:C12 as the chart data range.
View your chart to make sure the correct data is plotted in the chart. If it is not, Edit Data and select the correct data range.
25.Close the Chart in Microsoft PowerPoint window and return to the PowerPoint presentation if it is not displayed.
26.Format the chart.
27.Type Historic 30-Year Mortgage Interest Rates and Points as the chart title.
28.Select the border of the chart and apply the Style 9 chart style.
29.Apply Colorful Palette 2 chart color.
Align the chart Align Middle.
30.Change the font size of the title to 16 pt.
31.Add a chart element to include data labels Above each line.
32.Format the Vertical (Value) Axis labels to zero decimal places.
33.Apply slide transtions, customize effect options, and view the slide show.
34.Apply the Split transition, change the effect options to Horizontal Out, and apply to all slides.
View the slide show from the beginning (Figure 5).
35.Save and close all open files.
36.Upload and save your completed PHRE-HomeBuying-ICP-6d PowerPoint presentation.
37.Submit project for grading.
