Option 1:

“The manufacturing sector is rarely conflated with environmental best practices. Perceptions, however, are not always accurate. In truth, manufacturers around the world are generating substantial financial and environmental benefits from sustainable manufacturing.”

Sustainability reporting can give a competitive edge to a Company, with reference to the manufacturing industry, please conduct an analysis of the sustainability reporting of two European Companies to determine how their sustainability reporting has evolved and what benefits, if any, the Companies are getting from implementing a Corporate sustainability strategy.

Option 2:

“Access to faster software that can perform more complex functions, as well as interconnected technology has made accounting both easier and more efficient. Indeed, organising financial information, analysing data, and measuring economic activity has never been simpler.”

Technology has had a huge impact on the Role of Accountants. Referring to at least three types of technology advances, analyse and discuss how these technologies are being utilised by accountants. Please ensure to highlight limitations, if any, that these types of technology have.
